Went to see RóisÃn Murphy at Academy Manchester last night: absolutely brilliant. She held the sold out audience spellbound with a fantastic voice, and a dizzying array of hats, shrugs, batwing jumpers, capes, shades, eyemasks, biker jackets and crazy metallic puff dresses.

How come Ramalama [Bang Bang] is less than a tenth as popular as Sow into You? I mean Sow is good, but Ramalama is great… the stand-out track on Ruby Blue by Róisín Murphy.
